1998 Mariah Shabah 180se

Hello everyone, I've been lurking here for the past few days and decided to join. I am new to the boat market and have been looking at a few boats , bayliners, glastrons etc. Now I have found this boat mariah and I know nothing about them. Just doing a few searches on google shows that this is a good boat but I would like to know if there is anything I should know before pulling the plug on this one. I really like the character this boat has even though its a 1998 , I have yet to see it in person but will do so this week, the owner says it currently has 183 hours and is in pristine condition. What do you think this boat is worth? Here is the ad of the mariah... Mariah 180 SE Shabah Bowrider with Chariot Trailer - Markham / York Region Powerboats, Motorboats For Sale - Kijiji Markham / York Region Canada.

I was thinking of putting an offer of $10,000 but wasn't to sure what these boats go for these days? any help is appreciated , thank you.

I just bought my 180SE last fall. different colors but same boat. great condition with 166 hours. had to drive 25 hours round trip to get it but paid $7000 US for it. My trailer could use a little work but other then that great boat.

good to hear, so I think $10,000 is fair market price

Great boat I too am a first time boat owner. Its got lots of power plains fast and pulls hard. Had three person tub out with no issues. As always with an older boat reguardless of make also have it checked out

The $11,500 Cdn asking price is a little high so $10k might be a reasonable offer. The boat looks like it was well maintained but its hard to tell from the photos on Kijiji. The pics indicate it has a dual battery setup also. One thing i'm curious about is the registration number. It doesn't look like one from Ontario.....

Nice looking boat, if it was kept in a boat house as claimed then it should be in really good condition.
The trailer likely had little use as well.
$10K is the most you should pay for it.
(I paid just under $10K 18 months ago for my 2000 Z182, it had 135 hours on it)
Mikey is right, the registration number does not look correct for Ontario.
Does KA mean it is from Kansas?

Yeah, it does look like Kansas registration.

Sure looks like a nice boat in the pics. Interesting colors.

I bought my 1999 182 Mariah Shabah two years ago for $6500 that had less than 100 hours on it and included the trailer. I am really happy with this boat. It is a top quality manufactured boat in my opinion. The only thing I have had to replace was the Tachometer and ignition switch. The tach was replaced free from (Fariah ?) lifetime warranty and the siwtch was $25.00. I would negotiate the price down. Good luck
