Will Smart tabs fit on Mariah 238?
 

Hi, Does anyone have a Mariah 238 with smart tabs? The design of the transom means I'll be able to fit Smart tabs at the bottom of the V I.e. one either side.
Reason why I want Smart Tabs is to get the boat on the plane with 6 people in without having to move them in the cuddy! Maybe a 4 blade prop will be a better choice as my boat is 4400lbs. Any thought please???

Most of the recommendations for Smart Tabs limit the size of the boat to about 20-22ft. Beyond that the performance of the Smart Tabs seems to diminish likely due to the weight of the larger boats. You might want to consider a 4 blade prop or possibly a set of Bennett's or Lenco tabs.
