Vinyl Softener

First Post, please help me decide! I have read all the posts about everyones vinyl cracking on the sunpad. Mine is no exception. I am ok with the minor cracks right now, but can anyone recommend a good product to help soften the vinyl. That will at least keep my kids from punching through as easily! I see several products when I google it, but can anyone recommend one they have used so I don't have to try all of them? Thanks

I've used 3M Marine Vinyl Cleaner, Conditioner Protector for the past 2 years. It is doing a great job in keeping the vinyl soft and conditioned. Water beads up nicely. seems to hold up well against the sun.

I haven't used this but have heard good things about it. 3M Marine Vinyl Cleaner And Restorer

In either case, test a small area first to make sure it gives you what you want without impacting any colors, etc.

I use Mequairs and it keeps it supple, but not slick.

Will anything help "will at least keep my kids from punching through as easily!" It sounds to me like it is too late to salvage.

I bought one of those automotive vinyl repair kits and took the clear adhesive and applied it onto the little cracks that were just starting to appear to keep them from getting longer.

One sugguestion would be to get a small blanket or towel, attach velcrow to it and under the swim pad. Attach it while they're swimming and stepping in and out on a frequent basis.
