Hi all!

I am an aspiring Original Mariah owner and am hoping that you guys can guide me.

We are hoping to buy our first boat and after a lot of reading, I think a Mariah would be a great first boat. I am looking at a 94 Mariah 205 Davanti. I cannot find any information about this boat. Can you point me to any information on this model boat?

Also, what should I be looking for on it? The boat has a fresh-water cooling system from what I understand and the owner has taken good care of the boat. It has been stored in a covered area for the winters and been trailered during summer months.

Any information and guidance you can give me is greatly appreciated.

As per a spec sheet. 96 inch beam, 20'3" length, Max Hp 250, 43 gallon gas tank, 2900 lbs and motors ranging from a 4.3L to a 5.7L with speeds from 43 mph to 56 depending what motor

Is there something I need to look for when I am looking at the boat this weekend? I am a complete novice as far as a boat is concerned. Hence any advice is greatly appreciated.

I've had my Davanti 205 on the water just 5 times and each time love it more.... man i like my boat. So far no problems and it also has been well cared for over the years,

Check that one problem with the davanti i've had is it is difficult to keep on course at low speed.... it's left right left right left right... I 'm hoping smart tabs will solve that.

added 8-7-12
smart tabs did fix the constant correction needed to maintain a course
