Storage Cover under Rear seat in Shabah

There is a small (around 6") white plastic cover that looks like it may be the cover for a fuel pump or something in the deck under the rear seat, I was wondering what that is, and how to get it off. I didn't want to pry it because it looks like these things are normally threaded, but if so iit's threaded so tightly that it won't turn a bit.

RCustomCar,

That sounds like an access cover, but I've never had to remove one. So, I can't help you with its removal.

If its the same as my 98 Shabah that should be the access cover for the fuel gauge transducer and wiring on the top of the fuel tank. Never opened mine but if its the same as most marine access hatches its a one eighth or so turn to remove it. typically they are very tight especially if its never been removed and they are hard to grip effectively to get it to turn.....

It is the cover for the fuel tank where the sender and pump are located. Mine prys right out. There should be an indentation cut out in one small area where you can insert a screwdriver and pry. However, mine is a bit larger than 6". Can you post a pic?
