Default Carb Accelerator

Hi guys,

I recently rebuilt the 2 brl merc carb on my 4.3LX Gen+. It runs great now... BUT. It seems as if it might be getting to much fuel when I hammer down the throttle. I played with the three possible holes on the accelerator arm. It seema to improve when I chose the one that shoots less fuel. But it still seemsa like it's still sluggish for a split second.

Any ideas???

    I forgot:
I did change the accelerator pump. Also changed the fuel filters. It runs fine at WOT. Just that initial take off.

    Thanks

Hesitation on rapid acceleration sounds like insufficient accelerator pump, not too much.

I totally agree. But, when i change the accelerator rod position to give it more fuel it seems to hesitate even more. What type of behavior would be excepted when too much fuel is being given from the accelerator?
