Re: need advice
I would first look it up on N.A.D.A. Home Page - select boats and then enter the specifics for your boat. Be sure to include the extras as that swings the price a lot. Depending on the local economy, your boat will probably sell for more or less (boat prices are way down in my area.)
Try searching Boat Trader, iBoats, Craiglist (using searchtempest.com for nationwide searches) and eBay for your boat and see what people are asking. Some thoughts..... |
Re: need advice
I would be interested in the boat, what kind of engine and what color is it? Where are you located? Thanks!

Re: need advice
In looking at your ad, in my part of the country (Northeast), your $8,000 asking price is fair. I bought my 2000 182 Shabah last year for $7,000 without the "Z" package. The guy was asking $8,900 but it was in November, a tough time to sell a boat. Mine had 156 hours and did not include the extras. You should get close to the $8,000.

Re: need advice
Man, this is exactly the kind of deal I am looking for. If you were closer, I would be there with cash today.
This is starting to become very depressing, nothing like this in my neck of the woods. I can't believe that it is so hard to find a boat like this by me. |
