Mariah name?
I know this question has more than likely been asked numerous times, but where did Jimmy come up with the name Mariah along with,Diablo,Shabah,Barchetta,Davanti,etc..?

I don't know about the others, but "barchetta" is Italian for "little boat."

"Shabah" is named after the arabic term for "the night ghost". It was a code name used for the F117a stealth fighter during Operation Desert Storm. That fact was directly from Jimmy Fulks himself. :)
The Diablo name went away in 1995. After 1996, the Barchetta and Davanti names disappeared, and the only model names were the Talari, Shabah and Jubilee. In the 1999 model year, the Talari's became Shabah's. The Diablo was re-issued in 2000-2002, i believe for the 10th anniversary of Mariah. As for the actual "Mariah" name, I'll post that one soon... I read one time what Talari means, but I've forgotten it. Seems like it was "Wings of ?????"

Found it in the '96 Dealer Brochure: Talari means "Winged heels of Mercury"
