Default 308 for sale want to upgrade?

I have a 96 Talari Cuddy and just locally found on Craigslist a "308 Bow Rider/Cuddy" 2000 for sale for $12K. Upon going through the brochures on the site I think it is really a Z302 Shabah. Did they make a 308 bowrider? IS the 302 Shabah a good boat? Looking to upgrade in the Mariah world but dont want to "step in it". Going by water tomorrow to see it. Thoughts???? Thanks, Walter in Chesapeake VA, on the water!

Definately a 302 Shabah with only a little vinyl work aft. Are these really as fast as the brochures say?

Were you able to look at the boat today? What was the condition considering the really low asking price?

I posted the ad here on the forum a little over a week ago.

How long did it take you to get there? Did you say you drove your boat the whole way?

It took about 30 minutes from the house to the boat... nice ride. They brought it outside and we wet onboard while on a cradle. The aft vinyl needs redoing. The Bravo3 outdrive is missing the last half of the anti-cavitaiton plate and is also painted in a flat black anti-fouling? paint with a jury rig zinc annode bolted to the bottom of the skeg. Basically looks like a lot of jury rigging which scares me. The rest or it looks good except a little mold in the cabin. A 30' for $12K looks like a deal but I just returned from dinner on the boat and cant get the 21'er on the lift and the tide went out fast. The 30' would be a beast but what the hey!

That was short and to the point! I can sell mine for about $7500 so that is only coming up with a $5000 loan.... not bad for a 30' 2000 boat
