The removable panels are the long uppermost ones. They are flush with the top surface the window channel mounts to on my Mariah.

what about the lower panel...if you look at my pic, at the bottom of the molded plastic, there is another thinner piece that runs the length of the side down along where the cupholders and ashtray are....

Any idea if they will come off the same way as the top piece?

Sorry, I do not know if they come off easily. I am sure they come off but it may be that they are attached to the back of the panel and it will have to be removed first. Maybe someone else has found out the answer and will chime in with that information.

I was going to try it...but given that it was 95 degrees with about 90 percent humidity and no breeze....I gave up long before I got to that point!

Now that I have some better idea of what I am doing with the steering cable, hopefully I will tackle it again this weekend and if I can do it....hopefully take some pics.
