my 1996 255z shabah with a 7.4 bravo 3 what should it be running rpm wise and what can i expect for speed. I think it is reving to high with 22p props. 4700 - 4800 ??? Love the boat i will never buy another boat other than Mariah it is awesome!!!!

Hi southcoastpower, Depending on whether you've got a Carbed or Injected motor,you're probably hitting close to 50 or so with the 22Ps.

I believe the WOT RPM for the 7.4L should be between 4200 - 4600 (that's what's listed on our 96' 7.4L). Now depending on whether you're going for a better hole-shot or top end, the 22s will give you a slightly better takeoff where the 24s will give you a tad bit higher top speed. (we're only talking about 4oo RPM difference between the 22P and the 24P) so considering the cost for a set of B3 props, you may want to stay with the 22Ps and watch your WOT RPMs.
