Im new to Mariah and I found a 1999 Mariah 22ft Cuddy. I want to know more info on these boats. I think it is a Talari but I'm not sure. The ad is pretty vague. It has the 5.0 L Merc, does anyone know the legs that came with that engine? alpha or bravo? What do you guys think?

The 5.0L is pretty much limited to the Alpha 1. Access to brochures and manuals are limited to contributing members. If you have it, send the complete Hull ID # to our admin (ShabahZ250) and he should be able to identify exactly what the boat was built as from our build records.

Hi synergy141, the boat you're looking at isn't a Talari. They stopped using that model name in 1998. I looked in the 1999 brochure, and there isn't a 22 ft cuddy listed, the only similar models are the 218 and the 238 (available in Z series models as well). The 218 is 20'9" and the 238 is 23'7" respectively. I would say it might be listed incorrectly. Usually the windows have a model number decal on them, that'd be a dead giveaway on which model it is, also the USCG capacity plate usually has a model number listed on it as well. See if you can find the model info out and then we'll see if we can help you find out whatever else you need to know.

Thanks for the reply! Im waiting for the owner to call me back. He says someone want it and they are coming to get it next week. But I have Cash in Hand! So I don't know how this is going to turn out I really want this one. Im thinking now that it is a Shabah. Anyone know how to tell if it is a Z series?

z series will have all the power goodies, drivers seat, engine hatch, anchor light. It will have a windshield wiper and a defogger. Probably the Mark VIII trip computer as well.
