Barchetta 182 wieght?
Hi all, still hunting a trailer to fit my new boat thats not ragged. Just wanted to verify the wieght nada lists it as a net of 2250, is this accurate?
Thanks! |
Re: Barchetta 182 wieght?
2250lbs is reasonably accurate. By the time you throw in a full tank of gas & a few accessories it will get up into the 2600-2700 range.

Re: Barchetta 182 wieght?
The brochure for the 1993 Barchetta says its dry weight is 2350 lbs. We have ours on a single axle trailer and it maxs out the weight the two tires can carry. We have found that we must replace them every three years or they blow. I would suggest you put your boat on a tandem axle trailer... wish we had.

Re: Barchetta 182 wieght?
If you have the original Chariot trailer for the boat then a single axle is no problem. My Chariot trailer GVWR is 3300lbs which easily handles my 180 Shabah.
What about uprating the wheels or increasing tire size? I dont have my boat/ trailer here yet (still in storage) to confirm but i think i'm running 205 x 14" tires on mine and haven't had a problem in 4 yrs. |
Re: Barchetta 182 wieght?
I got 12 years out of the tires on Chariot trailer for my Talari 180. It was always stored inside.
Outside exposure and underinflation causes tire problems. You really don't need 4 tires until you hit 20ft or longer. |
Re: Barchetta 182 wieght?
thanks guys, finally found a trailer and got her home in my garage now!! I found a new repo trailer for 600 clams, not a bad deal. So grand total for boat and trailer is $5100
