The problem on mine is the vertical clearance, if something (a wave?) forces the tab up very far beyond horizontal, it will snap off the plastic clevis or mount. If I moved them far enough inboard to clear they wouldn't be very effective, or had I used the ST model they require less vertical clearance because the mount is adjustable.

What about the ladder, did the tabs interfere with it?

The ladder almost touches the cylinder, but not quite. :wink_thumbup:

Have you had a problem with the plastic snapping off? I am considering putting these on my Shabah202 to hopefully smooth out the ride on rough days. Also, is there a ladder clearance issue?

I'll try to get a photo this afternoon, it was close on the ladder, but they made it. I haven't snapped the clevis pins yet, but if I had it to do over I'd go with the ST model that only require 8" of vertical clearance to avoid the issue altogether. Again, mine are mounted as far outboard as I felt possible, to get the best results from them. I put it on & raised it by hand, they will compress slightly past horizontal, any more & something will give.

I've had them on my 180 for 3 summers now without any problems whatsoever.
