2001 shabah engine audio alarm
This will be the second season that we have owned this boat which we have really enjoyed except,beginning the middle of last summer, the audio engine alarm has been going off while underway. Just now and then at the beginning to almost constantly now. We have checked everything that we can think of including unplugging the sensor at the power steering pump. All fluid levels are fine and all gauges are reading in the correct range. It's starting to drive us nuts. Has anyone else had this problem ?

Hi John, I wasn't aware that there was a alarm sensor on the power steering pump. I thought the alarm system consisted of the oil pressure, water temp and outdrive oil lever sensors. The few times the alarm issues were posted on the club, most suggested that the outdrive oil level sensor seem to be the culprit so I recommend you check that first, it's the easiest to check sine it's just a float switch.

Yep, I second the outdrive oil sensor. That was the culprit with my alarm system constantly going off. I had to replace the sensor and reservoir, $46 in parts.
