Unhappy windshield needed

Help…. Winter in PA and MD have been a bit rough this year.. My boat now has its first scratch. The heavy snow has collapsed the roof of the shed attached to my garage in MD I use as a winter cover for the boat. It broke ONLY the left front windshield when it came down. Everything else is OK. Now I need to find a replacement glass. I have a 2000 25’ cuddy.
I’ve only found out about the collapsed roof this weekend when we went down to start opening the property and have just started the search. Any information or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

and i need to spend a winter in Tahiti with a dozen good looking ladies to handle my every need....

oh boy, you've picked a tough one. A lot of our members have had this problem (not that its unique to Mariah) and struggled to find what they need. It's not totally impossible but Taylor Made (who manufactured the windshields) have been known to help out occasionally. You can try calling "Karen" at 260-347-1368-ext-247 as one of our other members had a bit of luck with her.....no, not 'that' kind of luck.

Here's another response from a Gayle at TaylorMade that one of our other members received:

    Dear Sir,
I will need the sticker numbers off the trim on the inside of the windshield.

I will need the serial numbers on the windshield. If you are sitting in the boat and look along the bottom inside trim of the windshield you should see a clear stick with numbers on it. There should be one for each section. If you can get me those I can see if we can figure out what the center should be. When Mariah was in business they bought windshields in components and mixed and match the parts on the boats.

    Regards,

    Gayle Maye

I've dealt with Gayle once before and she helped me with new rubber and foam replacement parts but we were never able to find that number she refers to inside the frame so i was never able to replace my broken drivers side glass with the TaylorMade 'Clear Curve'. I ended up having a local plastics shop make one out of acrylic for me.

    Best of luck!!

Thank Yoy....Thank You .... Thank You
I'll try to get to the MD this weekend and get the number for you.

I've owned both much smaller and much larger boats but there is just something about this Mariah that I love. It was like a knife through the heart when I look at the broken windshield..

Once you have that number they're looking for, just give Gayle or Karen a call. If i remember correctly it was a 6 - 9 digit number usually inside the window frame.

no need to thank me.....just send cash to my Swiss bank account.
