Default Green oil dripping from back of Motor

I have had the boat in the garage all winter and then the other day I was raising and lowering the prop to do some touch up paint work and then after I raised it back up a few days later I noticed there was a small pool of greenish oil from the back of the prop area. Not sure why it is dripping. It just started. I just replaced the Fuel filter bracket and ran new lines. Can it have anything to do with this?
It looks like where it is bleeding from it the back side of the motor when it is raised up. There looks like there is a little bleed hole there?

That's drive oil. I'm assuming you mean it's coming from just above where the lower drive housing meets the upper. There is a seal that gets sandwiched between the upper/lower drive that could be leaking (possibly just shrunk enough from the cold to drip).

    Mickey:
now that you mention it, it is drive oil. And yes it is dripping from the two housings meet. If it has shrunk just enough to drip, do I need to worry about this or will it normally go back?

How about changing the seal out is that a large job or fairly easy to do.

I would probably keep an eye on it into Spring and see what happens unless you are planning on replacing the water pump impeller before then. If you are replacing the impeller, you might as well replace that seal while you have the drive split. I replaced that seal last year due to it leaking (mine was pinched between the drive halves) and replaced the impeller for giggles while I had it apart. I wouldn't say it's a large job, but it wasn't easy either as I did it by myself with no help. That lower drive housing is pretty heavy and it can be a pain to get the shaft to align while holding the drive housing up all while trying not to squish the seals, oh and then getting a couple of bolts in without dropping anything. If you have a helper, you shouldn't have too many issues though. The instructions in the repair manual cover it pretty well too.
