Hello club members
Getting ready to winterize my Mariah. Does anyone out there know the fuel capacity of the 1995 202 Shabah? I have been guessing at about 40 gallons when I have added fuel stabilizer but I would like to be more accurate. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hey Wesmor,

I believe the capacity is 38 gallons. I got that from I-Boats specifications on the 95 Shahba. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

'95 brochure states 40 gallons for the 202 Shabah.

Hey Chris,

Thanks for the correction. I recently purchased a 95 Z202 in August. I used to own a Ski Nautique back in the 90's. I think that gas tank was about half the size of what I have with this Mariah and that was designed for full throttle skiing and barefooting. Why in the world are these Mariah gas tanks so huge! I've never heard of 40 gallon gas tanks on such a small runabout. Was there some sort of philosophy behind having that much gas on board? I doubt I will ever fill my tank. The weight alone must drop the performance and top end drastically. Your thoughts?

Gas was $1.00 a gallon and you can play hard all day on a full tank !!!

At $1.00 per gallon I could buy two and a half tanks for what I pay now for one tanks. I could play a long time.

I've put a whole tank in my 202 in a day.

Used the good stuff too; $4/gal.

It's a good thing boating season is short here...
