does anyone know if a 1995 z225 davanti had a barrier coat from the factory. any help woruld be appreciated.

Yep, according to the 95 brochure, they used a epoxy vinylester resin, Ashland AME 4000.

I'd recommend if you're going to be storing in the water for any length of time, have the bottom done with anti-fouling paint. I wouldn't trust the barrier coat alone to protect the boat.
