Cant find Nav Light switch

Just got a 96 Shabah 19, and took it for maiden voyage yesterday. Only thing, there is no indication of a switch for Navigation lights. I tried all the unmarked switches and no lights. I assume there is a problem, but can anyone tell me which switch to look at? Thanks

I've got a 95 Z212 Shabah, my navigation light switch is on the left side of the steering wheel, theres 2 'knobs.' The one closest to the key turns the lights on, the one closest to the steering wheel is the brightness of the back-light of the gauges. Hope this helps:wink_thumbup:

Edit: Heres a picture. The steering wheel is covering one of the switch's..

Thanks. On my boat, the switch on the left by the key operates the blower. The one closest to the wheel does nothing. I assume that would be the Nav lights, since there is a switch to the right of the wheel marked bilge...

95Z212,

Nice boat, my favorite color. Is your bimini top OEM or aftermarket? I'd like to add one to my Talari.

Check your fuses/fuse-holders. Neither our bilge pump nor courtesy lights operated when we first got our Barchetta, and it turned out to be mildly-corroded fuses/fuse-holders. I cleaned them up with a small soldering tool wire brush and DeOxIt, then treated them with ProGold and now everything's fine.

Thanks. Its OEM from Mariah. Thanks for reminding me, I've got to take some loc-tite with me this weekend. Couple of the screws in the windows are starting to loosen up. Fix it for she falls in the drink :)
