Diff. between Barchetta & Shabah.

I have a 95 272 barchetta, & I seen A 96 272 shabah for sale that looked almost exact.
I just wondered what the diff was.

Hi karmann,

From looking at the brochures, the main differance seems to be the Sunpad, in '96 it became a one piece affair tilting rearward instead of splitting in the middle. Other differences are subtle such as an additional SS vent in the rear and a midship hand grab/cleat and she got a bit heavier (350lbs). Other that that, I don't see anything else.

Our '94 Barchetta has a one-piece sunpad that hinges up rearward.
