Default Cover, waterproof? repair?

factory cover, good shape but a couple of tears at the areas around the rear tie off bracket holes. where could I find patches, or some type of repair material?

another question, my cover does not bead up the water. the cover soaks up water when its raining, but sheds off any major rain. is this normal

My original cover is still in very good shape, but is not waterproof at all. It looks really good on the boat but doesnt keep it dry. I purchased a new sharkskin cover to put on it when it looks like rain.

Overtons sells a type of tape that could work to extend the life, but I don't know how good it is. I image some sort of patch repair is also available.

Try Formula 303 Fabric Guard waterproofer. It works great, but doesn't seem to last very long. You need a ton of it, and probably needs 2 applications a year.

A scrap of Sunbrella, and contact cement work well.
