I bought my 2001 Z278 new from the dealer in 2004, I don't know why it was never sold. 7.4L bravo III outdrive and it has been a dream to own. Most of my boating is in southern Illinois, about 50 miles from where the boat was manufactured.:)

Original Owner. Bought my new Talari 210Z, 5.7L Merc in 1994. Just got it out of the shop from detailing. The shop owner couldn't believe the good condition given the age. Have had many say to me, "is that boat new"?

Had some issues with the prop originally, more due to the marina I bought it at than the boat. Finally Merc stepped in and replaced it with a 5 blade 17 pitch ss, and have had unbelieveable out-of-the-hole performance especially for water sking and wake boarding. I'm on a small lake so fuel economy is not an issue; performance is.

I bought my 98' Z260 new and it's been a great boat. I recently just found this site/group today and have gone through numerous postings/forums and it's a great thing. Let's keep up the good work

Add me to the list of original owners.....purchased our Z202 Shabah in spring of 1996. Unfortunately 2 kids and travel softball and baseball resulted in the boat being stored (with a full tank of gas) for the last 7 years. Both daughter and son playing ball in college.

Looking for some advice on recommended best practices to get her back on the water. Any help on what I need to focus on to be sure she is reliable when me and my wife hit the water.

Advice on best methods to remove the old gas, flush the tank, make ready the motor would be greatly appreciated!

I also would like input on gaskets and seals.

I guess I'll add myself to this resurrected thread. Purchased our 2001 180 Diablo in 2000 not long after the company went under. Great deal on a wonderful boat that we still very much enjoy, just not often enough. Not like new anymore but probably 9/10 after 15 years. Maintenance has been minimal if I keep after it. Biggest problem is lack of use resulted in rusty pulleys that eat up belts.
