Corsa Performance Silent Choice Exhaust
 

I received the Silent Choice kit from Corsa Performance about a week ago and had it installed by a Marine shop last week. (it was ~$1500 for the kit and ~$500 for the install)

The sound is awesome, and a little enhanced power.

I posted a picture of the Stern in the gallery which shows the exhaust right between the outdrive and the trim tabs.

I also installed replacement brackets, cylinders and hose for the trim tabs from 'Boat Leveler Company' in St. Louis.

Let me know if you have any questions, I will post pictures of the nice stainless pipes inside the engine compartment and a link to the sound on youtube.

That's a nice looking boat. I'll be the Corsa sound great with the Big Block. It sounds pretty good with my small block.

i just got a corsa captian call exhaust for xmas. Havent yet installed it since the weather is bad. I have sx20 with a 5.0 u think it will sound ok even though i dont have a big block

My z210 350 efi has it, and i love the deep toned rumble sound, at idle and crusing. Don`t realley think it adds much to the overall performance , the real beauty of it is you can go from [rumble to silent ] with the flick of a switch:wink_thumbup:

Just recieved my xmas in the mail which is corsa captians choice thur hull exhaust which will come out the back. Was wanting to install myself didnt know how hard it was. Wat worries me is my tips arent round i have the square ones so wasnt sure how to make a nice square hole when i cut in it for that? any info would help or install instructions i could download somewhere

The kit didn't come with any instructions or a template on how to install the tips?!? :confused: The tips and the area around the hole in the hull are the most vulnerable for additional problems, it would seem they'd want to cover all this in great detail. My best advice is measure about 6 times to make sure it's correct before doing even the smallest cut. And use some high strength sealant, like 3M 5200.

Maybe you could contact Sea Fox and see if they have any insight as to the actual installation, since I'm assuming they offer this as an option on their boats.

Yes,the corsa silent choice rock.i have silent choice on my Z 272 shabah open bow bravo 111 7.4 mpi it sounds great gary g I have pictures of my 7.4 MPI silent choice in the gallery section Mariah Boat By Year under Gary G Tan&Gray hope maybe it will help. Also the Tech's at Corsa are very helpful. Corsa told me that you should not switch silent choice ON OR OFF Unless you are under 3000 RPM'S other wise you could damage the system. Good Luck Gary G

hey jdecoudres, i have to agree with chris, maybe you should contact SeaFox, it seems that you have one of the boats that they built, maybe they will give you some suggestions or help with measurements, my exhaust tips are round, and look like that they would be fairly simple to install. anyway just thought that i would put my 2 cents in! :) thanks , and good luck !
