Throttle Arm assembly?
 

Went to the lake over the weekend and my boat would not start, I found out starting by jumping across the starter solenoid with a screwdriver, It seems like the neutral saftey switch (if there is one) is broken. The trottle arm has a lot of play in it also. Any info on a replacement would be appreciated or if you have any other ideas of what may be wrong would be helpful also. thanks in advance.

This might be a job for your local Mercruiser mechanic to take a look at. Best to leave problems like this to the pros.
