Unhappy OEM parts

Does anyone know where I can get a trim sensor for a 94 barchetta motor

    If you've got a Mercruiser, contact them, or your local boat service center. There's also a few sites that you can order from, like http://www.mercruiserparts.com
    They'll help you get whatever part you need.

    Question

    The motor is a Volvo Penta and they said that they no longer carry this part so I was wondering if anyone knew of a dealer somewhere or a person with a boat that can be used for spare parts.

    What are the specifics on the motor? Could you provide the specifics on what model and outdrive etc.? Do you happen to know the part number for the trim sensor that you could read off the old one or is it completely missing?

    It is a 3.0 GL Volva Penta engine. The part number that was giving to me is #984731 for the trim sending unit.

    That's a part number for an OMC trim sender assembly. You can find it here:
