raising my deck lid

I have a Z210 Talari and am experiencing trouble with the two linear actuators that raise and lower the lid. Where do I get new ones? Also, I noticed the switch has been replaced. Anyone out there got any advice???

Hi Paul,

What kind of trouble are you having with the lifts? Are the making a lot of noise, not working at all or go up and down at different speeds?

If you want or need to change them out, we have a listing for the lift and the switch sources. Look in the "Original Mariah Talk" forum, the third thread is the "Mariah Parts List" sub-forum. Here you will find the lifts in the"Engine Hatch" section and the switch in the "Switches" section.

Good luck,
WetWilly

Hey Paul,

Have been able to fix your lift problem?

Do you have power to them, or do they just run at different speed?

I have a 1994 Shabah Z212 with twin lift actuators made by Acculift. I had a problem with them not running in sync. (one slower than other). I spoke with someone from the factory and was told to give the gearbox a good shot of grease and clean and lube the chrome extension tubes with WD40. That was last year. All is still fine.

I also found I needed to remount one of the actuator lower mount brackets because at full stroke, they caused the swim pad to be uneven, and when retracted, caused one side to pull too far into the back bench cushions.

Hope this helps,

Paul H.

Hi Had a problem that they worked than died after two mor three cycles. The battery was DEAD - would hold only a surface charge from the plugged-in onboard charger.. Cut wires, chased switches, etc. Finally noticed that radio died after two minutes when only the #1 battery was being used. Try the other battery- switch wires or check the battery.
