Sundeck hinges

Does anyone out there have pictures of their sundeck hinges? I have a Z and the people I bought it from said that the power actuator for the sundeck was removed before they bought it and now the sundeck doesn't open very far so I am curious how the current hinges installed compare to what the factory hinges look like/operate. Thanks.

Do you have a photo of your hinges you could post? I'll probably work on my boat today, and snap a photo of mine for you.

Here are the pictures of my current hinges, she is dirty which is partly because the sundeck doesn't open very high therefore it is really difficult to get back there. I hope this helps.

Those hinges don't look stock to me, on my 93 1900Z there's only one hinge and it runs the whole length of the pad and when it's shut you don't see it on the back. I'll have to uncover it and take a picture.

I'm positive they are not stock because you can see where either the old hinges were mounted or where the old power hatch units were in place because there are screw holes in the fiberglass where the factory mounts should be. Any help on what type of hinges this baby should have so that I can have better access would be greatly appreciated.

The hinges you have there are a 5 knuckle door hinge.
You should look at a stainless steel continuous piano hinge 1 -1/2 inch by 72 inch.

Thanks for posting those pics, the more I see all the other Mariah's on here the more I feel as though my Mariah was royally molested. Oh well, there is that added satisfaction I will have when I get her back where she belongs. I also noticed that my sundeck has two sets of door hinges, one set mounted on the outside and the other set is actually mounted underneath, which is why it doesn't open very far. Thanks again.

I am afraid what is on there are not the correct hinges. They should not be visible at all and the swimdeck cover should be higher than it appears yours is.

When I had my swimdeck cover recovered last year I mounted the hinge incorrectly and the cover barely opened. With the correct hinge the cover opens almost all the way vertical....
