Angry Walk through window

Greetings all,
I have an 02 Diablo 200 that I'm having some issues with my walk through windshield. The window does not shut all the way and overlaps on the starboard side of the window. It is a Talormade windshield and I've visited with one of their techs and the seem to think I can adjust the windshield braces on the side of the dash. However, it doesn't look like it can be adjusted too much or the holes will show on the side of the dash. Has anyone ever had this problem? Can I loosen the bolts holding the windshield underneath the dash and push the window out?? I'd appreciate any ideas or help. Thanks

I've removed the windshield assembly in the past and while its a bit awkward it certainly can be done and it should provide enough adjustment to solve the problem. Also, check to see if the hinge on the walk thru is still tight and i also thought the support bars were adjustable. Unfortunately mine's in storage for another 4 -6 wks....

I too am experiencing the same problem on a 99 182 Shabah...Any other ideas on how to re-align it? Mine overlaps by a full inch.

I ended up having to pull the rubber stripping out and then pull out the screws attaching the window to the fiberglass on the starboard side. I then pulled the window out towards the side of the boat until the window closed and opened freely (measured 50 times and drilled once) and then put the screws back in. Worked perfectly. If there is too much of a gap you might want to move the starboard side half inch and then the port side a half inch. I only had to move the starboard side. Good luck and let me know if I can be of any further help. Craig

Thanks for the input, I really appreciate the advice, I'll give that a shot once I get the darn exhaust issue figured out, I want to enjoy this damn thing at some point!
