Re: Dock prices
Wet slip, $396.75=Dry dock, $223.85=Electrical, $50.00

Re: Dock prices
$2700 for the slip with electric/air lift, due 3-15-09. Thanks for reminding me!:eek_animated:
Hey, that does include "security" 24/7!!:shakehead: |
Re: Dock prices
Dry dock on my trailer with valet launch service: $800. Also comes with a $50 gift certificate to the bar & restaurant at the marina! This is about $500 less than I paid last year to be dry docked under a metal carport which covered my boat in spider dropping stains!

Re: Dock prices
I forgot to mention mine is a one year lease, that's not a purchase price!!! I think I might be getting screwed. But then again, at least 200 others are as well (this marina has a monopoly)!

Re: Dock prices
That's a full "season" price for a slip rental with a lift. Doesn't include ANY service or storage. Not even for the trailer during the summer!
Knowing the economy and how many slips were left empty last year, a buddy and I are going to make them an offer much lower and see what they say. Knowing the lifts and docks are paid off after only 2 season's rent really ticks me off. They're the only marina on our tiny reservoir and they take full advantage of it. The way I see it, the tables are turned with this economy and we should be able to negotiate, rather than having a set price of this magnitude! |
Re: Dock prices
I'll be paying $760 for the season (May 15 through Oct. 15) for my 1992 2000Z.
That includes fresh water hose spigot and basic electric service. Our marina also provides Wi-Fi service at the dock, plus bathing/changing facilities and other amenities. Rosston Eddy Marina, Ross Circle, Rosston, PA, mile 40.4 on the Allegheny River www.rosstoneddymarina.com |
Re: Dock prices
I am paying 1450.00 April 15 to Oct 15. Includes the use of lift, free launches, shower and storage of trailer!

Re: Dock prices
Damn, I'm getting hosed. $1,500 for a covered 'no hookups, no treats' slip. IMO the nicest spot on Priest Lake, but dang its steep... We're talking North Idaho here!

Re: Dock prices
I'm paying $975 May 1 - Oct 15. City Marina on Kempenfelt Bay (Barrie, Ontario, Canada). Currently there is a father & son fishing on my slip! Summer still looks a long time away.

Re: Dock prices
Well mine is free... of course its kept at home and the marina is only less than 3 miles away so its quick and easy to get her in the water. My family owns a house boat there and i have free access to the marina 24/7 365 and free use of the ramp, bathhouse, and area to park a trailer. Oh yeah that includes marina security 24/7. Not a bad deal huh?

Re: Dock prices
I just spent $450 on a dock with a slip. But now it's mine!!!
I bought a lot on the Mississippi River late last year, right after the Great Flood of '08. I keep my camper down there on a concrete pad. I just bought my neighbor's boat dock. It's 16 x 20 foot with two 3 x 20 fingers that form a slip. Can't wait for warm weather and low water! |
Re: Dock prices
PGA Marina in West Palm Beach 220.00 a month
|
Re: Dock prices
$1400 for May 15-October 15, in-water slip with no lift. Basic electric. No water. No facilities, but the slips are secure. It's a total ripoff, but in my area, there are no alternatives whatsoever.

Re: Dock prices
The two marinas in my area are about $300.00 per month! As I’m too cheap to hand out my hard earned cash, I’ve always kept her at home.
