Talari Z2200

Hi,

Just looking for some information on my 1994 Talari Z2200, I'm the 2nd owner and have had it 2 years and love it! I'm looking for a few specs.

What is the fuel tank made of?
How many gallon tank is it?
How much does the boat weigh?
Where is the best location on the transom to mount a transducer?

Thank you.

Hi SGreen,

Let's see now...

1) Your tank should be made from aluminum, you can confirm this via the fuel sender access hatch just in front of the motor. Just open it up and the back of the tank will be exposed.

2) 60gal

3) Approximately 3250lbs dry w/5.0 so with the 5.7, I'd add about 50 to 75lbs more.

4) If you have the mounting instructions for your transducer, I would follow it for location and other mounting considerations, but if you don't, try contacting the manufacture or look online. Typically, I've seen them mounted near the first chine up from the keel (click on the attached photo to enlarge, transducer is located on the left between the Trim Tab and Outdrive).
