Parts !!!!
I am looking to replace my dash panel on a 1996 z220 Talari. Does anyone have an idea where to start? The part I am looking for is panel that holds the stereo head unit and houses some other switches.

They are known to occasionally show up on ebay. But those parts were made in-house at the old Mariah plant, and the when they closed up, the molds and all the spare parts were auctioned off, so honestly they're REALLY hard to come by, and might not even exist anymore.
Your best bet is to get it repaired, contact your local plastic fabricator, and see if they can help. If they can't, post back and we'll see if we can help you out. This seems to be a pretty common problem with those models. |
Are you talking about the panel down below where the stereo is? You might want to have a look at this thread:
http://www.mariahownersclub.com/foru...ead.php?t=1340 One of the contributors on here gave plans to make an aluminum replacement piece. I don't know if the size is different, but you might be able to use it. I cut one and used it as a backing plate for my existing one. It wasn't in too bad shape, but it had cracks appearing in it. Another idea is to get one cut, powder coat it and use it as a replacement. |
water temp
i have a water and air temp digital guage. The air temp works fine but the water temp doesn't. do you know where the temp sensor is or what might be wrong with it?

Re: Parts !!!!
As far as the radio housing I made one out of 1/8 aluminum sheet. Got the graphics scaned. Looks great and I'm going to powder coat it flat black and put the graphics on it. Looks better than the factory one. Will not ever brake or rust.
