Well I'm new to boats this year so I think I will let my marina do it. I will have this winter to catch myself up on some literature so next time I will be prepared. It doesn't seem that hard and a small investment in materials will definitely save me money for beer and other necessities. Thanks for the replies:big_drink:

I winterized our 94 Talari 210 myself. Took about an hour of my time and was well worth the savings!:wink_thumbup:

Do it yourself can be expensive!
We always get the winterizing done by professionals. We had someone do it one and our block cracked. We will never do it again, because the insurance will go after the shop for you if this happens, but they won't chase your friends!:rolleyes:
This year they said they do an environmental friendly winterizing and they don't use chemicals.. they flush the hoses and disconnect them. In the spring we will have to pay again to reconnect them. Oh well! Nice to be green. Have a good Fall.. what another 7 months before boating begins. Gil |
