Talari z235 (1996)

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone with this same model can send me the following information:

In the cuddy cabin there is a bar that goes across the benches so that you can turn the cuddy into a bed. The problem is I don't have the bar... I am looking for the dimensions of the bar, material it is made out of, etc...

I have the holders for the "bar" just missing that part.

Thanks!

bump... anyone? I know their are others with talaris!

No bar in mine, but couldn't you "make" one with materials from Northern Tool or Home Depot?

Yes, I can make it but I need to know the dimensions etc... I never had the bar, bought the boat used.

Anyone else?

sorry I couldn't help you. Apparently the 215 Talari is setup differently. So you're saying that there are bars that go across the footwell area so the cushion sits on top of it? Do you have any pictures?

I don't know if it helps any, but my bowrider has square pieces of plastic that run along the footwell of the bow, just below the cushoins. It's rectangular with the narrow side horizontal and the wide side vertical. I'm not around my boat right now, but i would guess the dimensions to be around .75"x 1.5"....again, they run along the footwell instead of across it.

Good luck!

I just picked up my '96 235 Talari the other day and have now read your post. I have that bracket in mine and have measured it.

It is a piece of angeled aluminum that is 36" long. One side of the angle is 1 1/2 " and the other side is 1".

Hope this helps.

As an additional thought. If the former owner hadn't shown me where mine was located I would have been in your same position.

If you haven't already, check the little apholstered ridge above the windows to see if maybe your bracket is hiding there.

Is there anyway you can send me a picture?! This is huge, thanks so much.

[email protected] is my e-mail

Here is a photo of the angled aluminum bar. I assume this would be fairly common stock material at Home Depot, or any metal supply.

Hope this is helpful.
