Gas tank
 

Hi.
I am proud to say I the 4th owner of a 95 Mariah talari. Loved these boast since my uncle had one when I was kid. However I have a few questions and concerns. If some could help me that would be amazing. First of all I want to ask where is the gas tank on my boat and is there easy access to it. (It’s a I/O 3.0L ) second question is it metal or plastic? Cause when I lift the middle floor compartment I get a smell of gas. And the boat was winterized and I havnt run it or filled it with gas yes. If someone could help me I would be very great full.

Fuel tanks are plastic and located underneath the floor right in front of your engine. Follow the fuel filler line down and you will also find the fuel level sender unit mounted on top of the fuel tank. The leak may simply be a loosened clamp at the tank but you need to find it asap. And make sure you run your blower for at least a couple of minutes before starting up that boat.
