Shabah 182 dashboard
 

Does anyone have experience or knowledge of how to remove the dashboard on a 182?
Need to check wiring and connections as i think might have an earth issue.

Seems really trick to get to the instrument panel from behind or underneath.

Look in the "Projects & Add Ons" section under the "How To" threads and you will find what you need. Be aware though that where the dash is bolted / screwed to the fiberglass has very likely become brittle due to age and there is a good possibility you will crack or break the connecting points when removing / replacing the dash. Speaking from experience....

For my 180, i simply remove the kick panel on the drivers side then prop my head/shoulders up with a couple of life jackets / pillows for a bit of comfort and work on that stuff from underneath.
