Just joined this club and was looking through the Z220 section and read your post and recommendations for the other gentleman. I am seriously considering a 1995 Talari Z220, great condition, and 254 original hours, and asking $9900.
But one of my stronger reasons for going the Mariah route was I thought there was no wood under the floor or hull support?

Jeff the original post you commented on was from 2008 so I doubt anyone of those people are still on here. Join the Facebook group as this site is not used very much anymore and is unreliable. Do not pay to join here because there is no one to approve your membership. As for the no wood, Mariah did not have the fully implemented until 1998 so there is some wood. Mariah did use the best quality wood and built quality boats using the best techniques so I would not even worry about that. If the boat is in good condition I would say that price is average. Best of luck, Mariah’s are a great boat we all love them.

Hey!I think a Mariah Z220 Talari for $3500 is a solid deal, especially if the mechanic said it ran great.Of course, it's wise to check the engine and electronics before buying.A little maintenance after winterizing is normal but these boats are sturdy and can be a great catch! Also, keep an eye on the hull and upholstery condition, the sun can do some damage but with some TLC and a bit of work, you could have a nice boat on the water.Good luck, hope it all goes smoothly! :)
