1998 Mariah 182
 

Good morning or evening.
I have a 1998 Mariah 182. With a little 3.0L.
Although it goes very good and I’m am very pleased with the boat intact I love the boat.
It’s lacking a little in the seat of the pants feel.
I have been asking questions and looking and wondering. All answers seems to lead to a dead end on swapping my 3.0L to a 4.3L.
If I got a donner boat with a 4.3L with the sterndrive intact.
To me it would be pretty straight forward. The holes are already provided in the stringer for the stringer mounts. All I’d have to do is get some made...?
From what I’m looking at. Seems like it would be a very easy and simple thing to do
