Default 1992 Mariah Diablo

Hello all, had my boat in the water for a long weekend, 4 days, did a lot of tubing with the kids, driving it pretty hard as well. When I pulled the plug I had about a gallon of water come out. Seem excessive or is that normal?

Maybe. Let it sit for a couple of days and see how much water it collects. Its possible you have a small tear in the rubber housing on the outdrive but it may just be from the hard turns etc associated with tubing.

You would be surprised the amount of water that drips off your body and bathing suit...right into the bilge.

A gallon is not much and probably only what is left behind after the bilge pump removed most of what has been dripping into the boat from people climbing in and out. When we've done a lot of tubing or swimming or whatever our pump might run periodically but you barely notice it and then... about a half gallon to gallon comes out when I remove the plug.
