2001 Z275 Shabah WHISTLING AIR NOISE
 

Just purchased 2001 Mariah Z275 Shabah. Great boat all went well except for a very loud air intake whistling noise when the boat is under power. It comes from sucking air into the engine compartment from the passenger area. Is there any way to quiet this? Thank you.

Is this normal? No one else has this issue with their Mariah?

Check the air filter, maybe it needs a cleaning? When I did the sea trial on my 275, the first thing I noticed when under power was this whistling noise. Exactly as you described. I either I don't notice it or it doesn't do it anymore and for me its normal.
