pin for deck lid
did you get that with the boat or did you install it?
I thought about putting some kind of pin in it so that i wouoldn't have to deal with it should it happen again. thankls for the response......Mark |
As far as I know, this is what it came with. I may be able to get a picture of it later today.
The hatch has a "c" channel mounted to it with a hole on each extension. The pin goes through this hole, then goes through the actuator arm (cylinder with a hole in it), and goes through the other side of the "c" channel. It all looks and performs like it was original. |

Here's the picture. As I said, it looks to be original, and I can't imagine not having a way for quick access without power. Hope you can find an easier way!

I would take the bolt out and use a link pin instead. I have a pin in mine and when my battery dies my back seat flips forward and I pull the pin out and lift the deck manually.

I like the power moters bit. but my grandmother of all people told me that she would just pull them and put on toy box hinges.
