I never kept my Prestige trailer btw and dealer took it back and gave me a credit. He planned to use it on other boats he had coming or a marina that had a couple rentals that were like mine but no trailer.

I personally felt it was unsafe for our tow vehicle at the time because the tongue weight was really high and quite short and had no brakes. I used it for a while and other than it having big 15" wheels and matching the boat colors I wasn't impressed. Construction seemed fine if you had a big heavy truck to tow it but I figured steel trailer would just start rusting also.

I replaced it with a Loadmaster aluminum saltwater trailer with torsion axle, surge brakes and a long tongue to which I added a hinge and the difference in towing was night and day. Just in case any of you are ever contemplating a new trailer you might look into it. We always tow to the lake and it is highway or expressway speeds any which way we go.

As far as I know Prestige is out of business. My 2000 Shabah has a Prestige. It has basically been remolded. Look under your Prestige to see if the access holes are square or circular. Square hole tend to get cracks in the corners and might be in need of attention.
