What are you trying to do, remove it from the dash?

Yes I Need To Put A New One In And The Dash Has A Lot Of Things In It.i Cant Seam To Get My Arm Up Under It To Get To The Mount For The Guage

I have the same model, but I can't say that I've tried reaching the hour meter. I've tried all the others though!!!! If I remember correctly, there are 2 nuts (I think 3/8") on the back of each gauge. Try contorting your hand back there with a socket if possible. Remove the nuts and you should be able to pull the guage out. Once it's out, you can see exactly how it's held in and makes things easier from that point.
Are you going to use an original Mariah gauge from Faria? If not, maybe you could have them fix it under their lifetime warranty? That way it would match the existing gauges... |

indykoch is correct. however I'll tell you that it's a 2 piece mounting system. The gauge is seperate, and there's a square mount piece that holds it flush in the dash. (It's the only square one in the dash). It's secured by 2 bolts, which I believe are 3/8". I've attached 2 pics that should help you visualize it. The first pic is looking down from behind the dash, and the second one, you can see the hour meter in the lower right corner. They're terrible pics from when I repaired my dash, and used these pics for wiring reference. But they'll give you the idea.
Hope this helps! |
