Re: 302 Shabah: Anyone know this boat? What to look for during inspection?
My other option was to keep it on the trailer and buy a truck to tow it. I almost went that route and may still yet some day. The public ramp is only 4 blocks away.

Not an option for me. The trailer and truck would be far more than the boat. And I want a boat I can drive to and be out on the water in 10 minutes

19k is to much money if you ask me. New trailer 4k, I would not be happy with having a 350 in a boat that size. Take forever to get on plane and top speed of 35-40? I could be wrong. Engine hatch is typical. I've not run into any problem areas IE bad strings rotten transom etc.... They built these well. Hard to tell the shape of the outdrive. Little corrosion isnt the end of the world.

I have it on good inside info that the owner will accept WAY WAY less than $19k. More like $10k.

There's your trailer money.

Don't want or need a trailer. If it came with one, I'd be selling it.
