New Mariah Owner 250 Shabah

Hey everyone, just purchased my first Mariah. Its a 2000 250 Shabah. I'm picking it up next week, still trying to get all the info about that boat or anything particular to Mariah I should check out. Any help, suggestions, or comments would be great. Thanks,https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...0674095de0.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...ad1005c554.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...e661dcee4a.jpg

Welcome to the MOC Cud250, and Congrats on your "new" 250 Shabah! She's a beauty, and I'm sure you'll enjoy it immensely. We've got quite a few members here with 250/Z250's who can answer any questions you have. We're all a friendly bunch, just post your questions here in this forum, and we'll try and help you out as much as we can!

I had a Z250 Shabah Limited Edition for 6 years, the exact same setup as yours (7.4L/B1), and I pretty much know that boat inside and out. You'll love it, it's the perfect day boat, with the ability to duck down into the cabin to get out of the sun, or sleep comfortably for a night if need be. If i can offer one bit of helpful advice, if your boat didn't come with them, purchase some long ropes to throw if you'll be docking the boat in tight quarters/marinas, or tying up with someone. Getting a rope to another boat/dockhand/someone on shore makes it a lot easier to maneuver around in tight spaces with the B1 drive. Also, don't attempt to fully crawl yourself into the storage compartment in the cabin if you're above 150lbs... You will get stuck. Keep shoulders vertical at all times if you're inside...Trust me on this one. lol And as always, don't ever approach a dock/boat/trailer or anything stationary any faster than you'd want to hit it.... :)

I just bought this same boat yesterday. Have you had any trouble with yours? Couple of questions if you don't mind? How long does a tank of gas last you and what is the top speed you have gotten your boat up too? I will be taking mine out for the first time tomorrow and I am super excited!! What kind of fuel do you run in your boat? Should I use premium non ethanol? Thank you
