Default Lanyard Wiring

Can someone check the wiring on their lanyard kill switch for me? (The kind mounted under the steering wheel on the helm)

During my dash project, one of my wires appears to have come unhooked, and I've got a few different options of what to hook there... There's currently a Pink one hooked up. And are there any spades or other multiple connections hooked to yours?

If anyone has pics, that'd be frickin sweet too.... Thanks in advance!

Don't cut the blue wire ... oh wait ... I mean red !

Someone will probably chime back in here well before me, but I will finally get up to see my boat (in storage and to pay for it) this coming long weekend. I hope to clean it up and apply the side decals this Sunday before it hits water in about another week or two.

I have drawn a crappy road map of the switch wiring, but nothing that I know of over to the kill switch.

I was just surprised he didn't blame Chris for looking at a Mariah wiring schematic when he really needs one for a Bayliner!!!

Well I offered to help out ...

Just my answer would have to wait till Monday night when I get home from the cottage. We don't have the net up there, so no 'puter access.

Unless of course some neighbour was dumb enough to use a wireless router w/o security. Either that or I head into Orillia to find some twit on an open connection and steal their net. heh

    Hey Chris,

Just wanted to let you know that I didn't even crawl into my boat to take a look at my lanyard wiring.

It was just way too cold and wet to bother spending time on the boat. Even in a covered shed it wasn't great.

Well thanks Ryan for at least updating me and I appreciate your willingness to help. I think I might have narrowed it down by the process of elimination. I popped the circuit breaker quite a few times during the process and finally think I've stumbled on it. I'll post an update later this week once I can get the neighbors gone, and get the outdrive muff mounted for a test run in the driveway.
