Default Mariah Shabah 255 7.4 MERCRUISER

Dear all,
I am new member from Estonia planning to buy above named boat. Price is $19 000. Am I on the right road? Does anybody have it and what is the experience. I like the size and the cabin but not sure about the quality of the year and model. All advices are welcome!

Check the stickies under buying and selling for general info. Value can be found under NADA in boating section but you need to know year and options.

    Estonia ???
Isn't that where Dracula is from ???

I have to brag about our Mariahs. They were built to the highest standards of all the boats we looked at before buying ours. The craftsmanship is A-one. Small details like the fiberglass being rolled on a radius instead of cutting to shape and sticking that push on edge guard. You literally can't find any place that isn't finished in gel coat vs. bare fiberglass/resin.
Good luck and keep garlic in your boat.

Nooooo.... Dracula's from Transylvania.... Estonia is this really nice little place in Eastern Europe. I met some really pretty girls from there....
Was that $19K USD? I'm almost sure that it isn't Rubles...

Estonia is in North-East of Europe below Finland and boardering with Russia and Latvia. Dracula in Transilvania which is Romania. I go there every summer for enduro racing and the girls almost as beutiful as in Estonia we have EUROS.

I'll check out the advice I've got so far, thanks

How long is your "boating" season there? I'm "ass-u-meing" that it freezes up fairly soon.
I'm just playing around with you. Don't get me wrong. I'm amused that we have this opportunity to casually talk like this via the WWW.
I'm guessing the volcano really affected you from several years back. What was that like?
I guess you'll boat in the Baltic ?

I am actually not on the coast but in Tartu so Iam boating on river and 2 lakes. Official navigatin period is from May to October so long enough.

Anybody has any epxerience with 255?
Offered 258 looks nice but I like 255 look better - more agressive after my opinion.

What year do you have and what is your general opinion of that particular model year?
What are the positive features after your opinion?
    What are the negative features?
At what speed/rpm it goes planing?
What is the normal cruising speed?
    What is the maximum speed?
How much petrol it consume at cruising and max speed?
What are the main/standard problems if there is any?

I am new to this boating world and currently have Sun Runner 195CV so excuse my unprofessional questions.
