    Remove the stripped screws and use the next larger dia./size.

    When I took my side panels off a couple of weeks ago I had a few screws do this. I dabbed some sealant in the hole before putting the screw back in. In a couple of spots I was able to add a chunk of wood behind the screw to suck it in tight.

    If u can reach the back side, u may need to use a carriage bolt and washers.
    If you have the room, undo the entire panel and move it fore or aft to gain new holes on all of them. If the boat has shrunk or the panels have grown, you may want to gingerly remove the fabric from one end and cut a 1/2" off.
