Lowrance 3500 depth gauge

So, another issue I have is my Lowrance 3500 gauge is on its last leg. At least 3-4 of the LED tick marks that make up the numbers are burnt out.
My question is what have you guys used to replace this item? I want to stay with the gold bezel theme.
Could I use the same transducer by splicing into the wire?

Thanks all!

Re: Lowrance 3500 depth gauge

Unfortunately, replacing it is the only option. Lowrance discontinued these many years ago, and also hasn't serviced them for years. To replace, you'll have to buy a whole new system, including the transducer , since the Lowrance 3500's transducer operates in a frequency band not compatible with any other equipment. Occasionally you'll be able to find a Lowrance 3500 on eBay, but because these are in such high demand, they have been known to fetch hundreds of dollars for used units...

If I remember correctly, the later model Mariahs used Faria depth gauges, because they had the gold bezel and a similar look.

Good luck!
