1998 Z280...should I buy?
 

I am looking for upgrade from my SeaDoo jet boat and have found an one owner 1998 Mariah Z280. Its in great shape that has been very well maintained by someone who really cared for the boat. I do not know much about these boats and finding information, reviews etc on this boat is hard. Does anyone have input on this boat? Manuals? Any advice is greatly appreciated. They are asking 20k for it, is that high?

I have no idea what they are worth. It looks very nice! However, its up to you for what you want. I sold Mariahs in the early to mid 90s and love them! I would buy!

Depending on the options, $20k may be a good price.
-A/C?
-Engine & # of Hours?
-Genset?
-Service History?
-Canvas condition?
-Trailer included?

I have that same make and model. I really enjoy it. But u bought mine for 10k. The previous owner had the seats redone.. after my first summer driving the boat I had the gas tank leak which cost me $1,800 to fix. So just be cautious of that... I seen one of these boats go for 18,000 and another go for 23,000.. they are very well built boats..
